Tap any day below to zoom in on that leg.

Sleep in. Walk the town. Pull a wheel off, clean a chain, eat well. Built in here after the heavy Day 3.
Roll 7:30 AM MDT (breakfast 6:30, gear-up 7:00). Together up US-191 N → US-6 W over Soldier Summit to Spanish Fork. There the group splits: Ron+Emily+Billy on to Sundance; Guy+Julian to SLC airport for flights home.

983 mi over 5 riding days = 197 mi/day average for Ron+Emily+Billy — sits under the 200 mi/day target. Day 5 (Telluride → Million Dollar twice → Sorrel River) is the longest single day at 273 mi. Guy+Julian ride 31 mi more on Day 6 (branch to SLC vs Sundance).
Built-in recovery: Day 1 is a short pickup-and-roll into Estes Park (1.5 hr), and the Telluride rest day on Thursday lands right after Day 3's heavy Aspen → Black Canyon → Telluride pull.
The day to be alert on: Day 4 (314 mi · 6.3 hr saddle = 8-10 hr door-to-door). Hot lunch, no rushing, full hydration. Coal Bank + Molas + Million Dollar Hwy are the kind of roads where a tired rider gets in trouble.
